The kids in these photos are mostly adults now. Nearly 15 years in WNC, we have seen many grow up. If someone asked the best job for retirement... Hands down "Rockin' Rock Shop". We have seen Miracles and Milestones, Magic and Mystery, Love and Laughter. By sharing the memories of the customers that have visited our Gem Mine over the years, we have enjoyed it just as much as you. It has touched our hearts in ways we could never have imagined nearly 15 years ago.
To have a young man bring his child after he had visited as a child, or a young woman bring her fiance' in to show us her engagement ring, which was from a gem stone she found in our mine as a little girl... No. There are no words to explain the feelings in our hearts. We have had friends from all over the world visit our shop, bringing with them friends of their own or sending their friends to tell us "Hello"! The memories that you have shared have touched us.

Rebuilding the site after being hacked last year. It has made us realize that we are blessed with all the memories from the years... then, the fire in November last year shut us down for 4 months. Recently reopened, we were having a fire sale, but the fire is over and we have "Risen From The Ashes" so... it's a PHOENIX SALE!
